My name is Ana Montesino. I am the founder and Events Director of Prestige Weddings and Events. When I talk about my company my eyes are wide and bright, and my heart beats faster. It excites me to use my skills and experience to help and guide my clients to ensure that their best moments in life are extraordinary.
I have been part of the tourism industry since 1998, and have been living in this tropical paradise since 2002, helping people create their dream events and travel adventures. Over the years, I have built a reputation for creativity, honesty and reliability, with deep knowledge of the area as a destination. In addition, I have established a solid team, including a network of the finest vendors in the country and abroad to serve all the needs of your wedding or event.
I decided to follow my own dreams by founding Prestige Weddings and Events. A small business with a passion for planning and coordination services for events in the Dominical, Uvita and Ojochal area known today as Costa Ballena (The Whale’s Tail), where the amazing Ballena National Park is located, and where all year round the lush green of the tropical forest meets the ocean. I am in love with this area of Costa Rica and I enjoy what I do… I cannot ask for more.
I have a Masters Degree in Tourism from the School of Business and Social Science at the National University of Mar del Plata, Argentina. How did I end up in Costa Rica and the Costa Ballena area? I worked as a travel agent during college, and I picked Costa Rica a my next destination for a vacation. I had no idea then that this would become my home. My previous experience as a travel agent gave me the option to work in the hospitality business in the Dominical Beach area, and soon after I started working as an event planner. This gave me the oportunity to grow as a professional in the travel and wedding industry in Costa Rica. Along the way, I met my husband, who is a Costa Rican, and today I have two adorable, smart daughters who want to be my assistants and helpers all the time!!
After developing my skills working for others, in 2009 I founded Prestige Weddings and Events, focusing on Destination Weddings. We understand that travel is all about new experiences and a most important part of destination weddings and events is the opportunity to share extraordinary moments with your family and friends.
Creating customized experiences that capture your wishes and expectations is my passion. Making these special life events easy is our specialty as a team, and we cannot wait to be at your side planning your adventure. Making the impossible happen is what I love to do.
